It’s the beginning of week six, and as we approach the halfway point, the lovely Julie has fruit on her mind. As I mentioned, Julie got some new foods added to her diet last week, fruit making up a large part of the new options.
If you’re following along at home, remember there’s no calorie counting on this diet so the fruits, and other foods, have been chosen for their low glycemic index, low acidity and how filling they are, meaning that some fruits you may have been hoping to see like grapes, oranges and bananas, don’t make the cut at the moment.
However, if you just can’t do without the citrus-y goodness of oranges, or the awkward phallic-ness of bananas, see if you can incorporate them into your cheat meal. Remember, only 6 and a bit weeks left!
