I’ll be honest, when I first started with this whole “the machines are taking over the world” schtick, it was just a bit of fun. Well ladies and gentlemen, shi* just got serious! Why? Because as this video shows, Siri, Apple’s latest slice of artificially intelligent goodness can, with a few tweaks READ YOUR FREAKING MIND!!!

**UPDATE** The Verge have posted another article indicating that this is probably a fake. They note a number of faults with the video, chief among them the fact that they claim the device currently works via ECG pads strapped to the user’s head. ECG pads however measure heart activity, it’s EEG pads which measure brain activity, which you would kind have imagined they would know if they were, y’know, actually smart enough to pull this off..
